About Lafayette

It is an honor to serve as the Principal of Lafayette Elementary School. We are fortunate to have a vibrant and caring school community, and I look forward to building strong, collaborative relationships with our staff, families, and community partners. Lafayette is a special place—one where students are known, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential.

My vision for Lafayette is to continue cultivating a learning environment where students feel safe, valued, and deeply engaged. A key goal of mine is to strengthen partnerships between families and educators as we work together to support student success. I’ll be present in classrooms—where the action is—observing teaching and learning, and supporting both staff and students.

Since 2002, I’ve proudly served Greater Albany Public Schools as a school counselor and most recently as a Dean of Students. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, reading, and watching sports. My 18-year-old triplets keep me on my toes and constantly inspired!
